Utah’s Fort Desolation is back August 12-13 at Cougar Ridge Resort in Torrey. This year’s headliners are The Band of Heathens, Amos Lee, and Elle King. The event draws overland enthusiasts from all corners of the country.
Overlanding is a self-reliant method of overland travel that truly emphasizes that the journey is truly more important than the destination. Fort Desolation aims to celebrate that mentality with The Capital Reef National Park serving as a dramatic backdrop for three nights of exploration and electrifying musical performances.
Friday’s performers are The Band of Heathens and Heartless Bastards.
Saturday’s lineup includes Amos Lee, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Danielle Ponder, and Marty O’Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra.
Sunday’s headliner is Elle King and includes support from Rayland Baxter, Elizabeth Cook, and Jordan Matthew Young & Friends.
“We created Fort Desolation Fest for overlanders, van-lifers, car campers, adventure bikers—and anyone else who enjoys music, food, and drinks in the great outdoors,” said Fort Desolation founder Jeremy Rawle, co-creator of Nitro Circus. “We believe adventure is best shared. We love live music, we love overland adventures and we love southern Utah more than any place on earth.”
